The Buffalo Bills select center Eric Wood from Louisville with the No. 28 pick in the 2009 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills used their second first round pick in the 2009 NFL draft to take Eric Wood, center from Louisville.

Wood is a true football player and was the anchor for the Louisville offensive line. Wood impressed coaches in his pre-draft interviews and is a very smart player. Adding Wood to the offensive line will help the Bills who recently traded left tackle Jason Peters to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Bills will look for Wood to contribute early on on the offensive line that has had trouble protecting the quarterback in the past. Wood is sure to be a great center for many years to come.
