According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Buffalo Bills have contacted and are setting up a meeting with former Denver Broncos coach Mike Shanahan about becoming the next head coach.
On Tuesday, the Bills fired Dick Jauron and named Perry Fewell the interim head coach.
According to sources, Shanahan is listening to the Bills offer and is determined to return to the NFL as a head coach. While in Denver, Shanahan won two Super Bowls. Aside from meeting with Shanahan, the Bills also will be considering Jim Haslett who currently coaches the Florida Tuskers in the UFL and New York Giants offensive coordinator Kevin Gilbride, both of whom has ties to the Bills.
In the meantime, the Bills will head to Jacksonville to play the Jaguars this Sunday.
