Derrick Mason agrees to two-year deal with Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens continue to bolster their passing attack, this time re-signing two-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Derrick Mason.

Mason and the Ravens agreed on a two-year deal that is reported to be worth $8 million, with $3.5 million coming in the first year. Mason originally joined the Ravens in 2005 and with this new deal, he is likely to finish his career in Baltimore.

Antonio Bryant agrees to four-year deal with Cincinnati Bengals

JOCKlife.com has learned exclusively that free agent wide receiver Antonio Bryant has agreed to a deal with the Cincinnati Bengals. Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but according to a league source, it is believed to be a four-year deal.

Bryant made a visit to Cincinnati on Tuesday, but ultimately left before completing a deal with the team. It had been reported that the Washington Redskins and the Miami Dolphins were interested in acquiring Bryant as well.

Public should let police fully investigate before passing judgment on Ben Roethlisberger

While the facts continue to emerge from the Ben Roethlisberger situation in Milledgeville, G.A., fans, critics, and advocates should wait for the police to sort through the findings before jumping the gun to convict Roethlisberger.

"The investigation is ongoing. It would be premature to make any announcement at this time," said Fred Bright, district attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. "When the facts are in and a decision is made, we will let you know."

Denver Broncos extend first-round tender to receiver Brandon Marshall

It appears that the Denver Broncos are willing to part ways with wide receiver Brandon Marshall after tendering him with a first-round tender instead of a first and third-round tender on Wednesday.

On the other hand, Elvis Dumervil won’t be going anywhere as the Broncos tendered the linebacker with a first and third-round tender. The additional third-round tender means that Dumervil -- who had 17 sacks last season -- carries a $3.168 million price tag.

LaDainian Tomlinson Still has Value in Limited Role

Well…they did it. We all expected it and they did it. The San Diego Chargers released 30-year-old running back LaDainian Tomlinson last Tuesday.

The man who kept the electricity in the Chargers offense for the past eight years will be looking for a new home over the course of the next few weeks but he shouldn’t have to look too hard. There are a plethora of teams that should be willing to glance in L.T.’s direction for next season.
