Once again the search begins at the University of Colorado. On Wednesday, Wake Forest officially introduced their new head coach, Jeff Bzdelik, former CU head men’s basketball coach.
Now that Bzdelik has moved on to what he described as his “dream job”, CU athletic director Mike Bohn is now left with the job of conducting another search to replace a head coach in the athletics department. Just Monday, CU introduced Linda Lappe as the new women’s head basketball coach, 14 days after Kathy McConnell-Miller was fired after five seasons.

Contributor Though the Commercial Appeal reported on Monday that Memphis Grizzlies guard Allen Iverson is contemplating retiring from the NBA, the Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley has mentioned that he is not sure of what Iverson’s future plans are; it might not include retirement.
For Iverson to retire from basketball when he can still play for some teams in the league would be an injustice to arguably the toughest smallest man to single-handedly carry a team to an NBA Finals in the history of the league.
“I’m not in Allen’s head. I don’t know what he’s thinking,” Heisley mentioned to AP.

Editor Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall seems to be singing a different tune at the moment with his team in a surprising 2-0 position after their home win over the Cleveland Browns this past weekend.
Is there a reason for Marshall’s new approach or is there a catch? Maybe the latter more than the former because Marshall was probably scared to begin with when new and first-time head coach Josh McDaniels traded away the team’s franchise quarterback Jay Cutler when both could not settle their dispute amicably.
