According to several sources, the New England Patriots will be without leading rusher Fred Taylor who will require surgery on his right ankle.

Taylor won’t be required to miss the rest of the season but he will miss some time with the procedure.

The ankle injury came on Taylor’s final carry of the win over the Ravens, a 3-yard rush in which he came up hobbling after charging hard into the middle of the Baltimore defense. Taylor has not practiced since the injury.

With the Tennessee Titans starting off the season 0-3 and quarterback Kerry Collins not leading the team to a win so far, you would expect head coach Jeff Fisher to make a change at the position.

Chicago Bears linebacker has been placed on the injured reserve as coach Lovie Smith’s team will be without their leader on defense for the rest of the season due to a dislocated right wrist.

Unfortunately for the Bears and Urlacher, this is one player that only missed less than 16 games in his 10-year NFL career. The last time for Urlacher was five years ago when he only played nine games also due to injuries.
