Contributor When the Tennessee Titans were 0-3 to start the NFL season, many pundits were shocked and asked head coach Jeff Fisher to make a quarterback switch from the older Kerry Collins to the franchise player Vince Young. The coach did not think it was necessary to push panic button for a team that made the postseason the year before.
Now Fisher says Young is a different person compared to the quarterback he benched last season with the team currently riding a three-game winning streak.

Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers look to revive season on Thursday nightSubmitted by admin on November 12, 2009 - 11:24am |
As NFL Network kicks off their coverage of NFL games on Thursday night, two teams will be on display that desperately need to get back to winning.
The Chicago Bears started this season with high hopes after adding quarterback Jay Cutler to the team via trade, but so far, a 4-4 record wasn’t exactly what the Bears were expecting. For a long time, the talk in Chicago had been that the team was only a franchise quarterback away from getting back to the Super Bowl and winning, but that has not proven to be true.

A decision head coach Jeff Fisher should have made ages ago, it took him six stubborn losses to finally give in to demands to start Young, the future of the Titans franchise over Kerry Collins.

Editor Before anyone attempts to criticize running back Maurice Jones-Drew for his criticism and harsh comments to his team the Jacksonville Jaguars and their lack of offensive identity, you need to ask yourself the question why shouldn’t he?
With a disastrous 41-0 loss to Seattle on the road, Jones-Drew’s teammates knew he would lash out at the team for the poor play-calling as well as the shuffling of offensive linemen.
It was more than a humbling result and if a player like Jones-Drew cannot rip into his team for a poor performance, then who is allowed to, reporters and fans?

On Sunday, Manning threw for 309 passing yards along with three touchdowns as the Colts dominated the Tennessee Titans 31-9 on their home turf at LP Field.

According to several sources, the New England Patriots will be without leading rusher Fred Taylor who will require surgery on his right ankle.
Taylor won’t be required to miss the rest of the season but he will miss some time with the procedure.
The ankle injury came on Taylor’s final carry of the win over the Ravens, a 3-yard rush in which he came up hobbling after charging hard into the middle of the Baltimore defense. Taylor has not practiced since the injury.

Contributor With the Tennessee Titans starting off the season 0-3 and quarterback Kerry Collins not leading the team to a win so far, you would expect head coach Jeff Fisher to make a change at the position.
It’s not going to happen - at the moment though.
Now if Tennessee made a quarterback change the last time they began the season 0-3, what makes this time any different from then?
In 2006, when the Titans started 0-3, owner Bud Adams said he wanted to see then rookie Vince Young leading the offense. The team finished 8-8 after starting the season 0-5.

Editor Chicago Bears linebacker has been placed on the injured reserve as coach Lovie Smith’s team will be without their leader on defense for the rest of the season due to a dislocated right wrist.
Unfortunately for the Bears and Urlacher, this is one player that only missed less than 16 games in his 10-year NFL career. The last time for Urlacher was five years ago when he only played nine games also due to injuries.
Now that he is healthy after two years of back and neck problems, he is out again after lowering his shoulder and plowing Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
