The New Jersey Nets after losing 117-101 Wednesday night at home to the Dallas Mavericks have set the record for the worst start to an NBA season at 0-18.
Before Wednesday night’s game, the Nets had matched the 1988-89 Miami Heat team and the Los Angeles Clippers of the 1999 season as the teams with the worst start in NBA history. Now, those two teams are no longer in the books as New Jersey holds the record with another loss to Dallas.

World Cup Qualifying 2010: USA defeated once again by Mexico, Sabah goal lifts El TriSubmitted by admin on August 12, 2009 - 4:50pm |
USA Men’s soccer has never won at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City and today marks a continuance of that.
The U.S. team had it all stacked up against them. Playing in the smog and heat of Mexico City at 7,400 feet and temperatures in the nineties. Visiting teams to Estadio Azteca always seem to be gasping for air, especially in the second half. To top that off, there are 105,000 screaming fans and a wide open playing surface that often leaves site line problems for visiting players who are not all together familiar with the layout.

The game was fairly docile, ending in a 21-18 victory for Tennessee. That being said there were some pretty good moments.
