I'm excited about spending more time with my family, and seeing what God's going to do next."

Chicago Bears and San Francisco 49ers look to revive season on Thursday nightSubmitted by admin on November 12, 2009 - 10:24am |
As NFL Network kicks off their coverage of NFL games on Thursday night, two teams will be on display that desperately need to get back to winning.
The Chicago Bears started this season with high hopes after adding quarterback Jay Cutler to the team via trade, but so far, a 4-4 record wasn’t exactly what the Bears were expecting. For a long time, the talk in Chicago had been that the team was only a franchise quarterback away from getting back to the Super Bowl and winning, but that has not proven to be true.

NFC East Week 8 Preview: Redskins get a much needed break, Cowboys continue to rollSubmitted by admin on October 30, 2009 - 3:25pm |
After an interesting Week 7 in the NFC East, it seems like the only thing that can be expected from the division on a weekly basis is, well, uncertainty.
The New York Giants who at one point seemed like the team to beat in the entire league dropped its second game in a row. The Arizona Cardinals were able to showcase their defense in the Meadowlands and forced three interceptions against Eli Manning. Manning had as many interceptions in this game as he had in the first six games of the season, and only managed to find the end zone once.

Contributor When it was announced that Mark McGwire would join the coaching ranks at his former team the St. Louis Cardinals as their new hitting coach, most critics of baseball would have simply pointed to his refusal to answer questions during a March 2005 Congressional hearing on Steroids. But no one can deny the fact that McGwire along with Sammy Sosa in 1998 brought baseball back to its place as America’s past time and his well deserved opportunity to give back to the sport he gave his all.
