According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, wide receiver Donte Stallworth has agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

The deal is reported to be worth $900,000 with the ability for Stallworth to earn up to another $300,000 in incentives. Just last week, Stallworth’s contract with the Cleveland Browns was terminated. Stallworth was also recently reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after serving a year-long suspension for killing a pedestrian while driving drunk.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a feeling they can make the post season with their current form, but the status of their safety and leader on defense Troy Polamalu is uncertain as they prepare for their last game of the regular season on the road against the Miami Dolphins.

Mike Holmgren will be joining the Cleveland Browns after agreeing to become the team’s president.

"We are pleased to announce that Mike Holmgren has agreed to join the Cleveland Browns," owner Randy Lerner said in a statement. "We will spend the rest of the week finalizing the details of the agreement."

The Pittsburgh Steelers are quickly running out of games to turn their season around and they might also be without their most key player on defense, safety Troy Polamalu for the rest of the season.

Polamalu has been nursing a left knee injury that was initially listed as game-by-game, but it seems the knee is not healing fast enough for the perennial Pro Bowler to get back on the field and help his team on defense.

Though Polamalu hopes to still play this season, there are serious doubts and he also affirmed that there no date set for his return.

According to ESPN.com, Notre Dame quarterback Jimmy Clausen will forgo his senior season in college as he is expected to enter the 2010 NFL Draft as the player mentioned that he is following former coach Charlie Weis’ advice. It has been reported that his fellow Notre Dame team mate and wide receiver Golden Tate will declare for the draft as well.

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was name the offensive player of the week in the NFL for his magnificent comeback performance in the Lions 38-37 home win over the Cleveland Browns.

It was a game between two teams that only had one win each so far this season, so nobody really cared to watch, but it turned out to be probably the best game of the week.

But on Sunday, Stafford who threw five touchdown passes was the key factor in the Lions turning the game around and making it arguably one of the most interesting games of this NFL season.

The Cleveland Browns have only been able to muster one win this season with the team they have, so why not try to add Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James to help get some wins?

LeBron James has recently expressed his confidence that he could suit up for an NFL team and be very productive and now Browns’ coach Eric Mangini has said that he would be willing to give James a shot if he wanted to come try out for the team.

"I think he should come on down," Mangini said.

When the Tennessee Titans were 0-3 to start the NFL season, many pundits were shocked and asked head coach Jeff Fisher to make a quarterback switch from the older Kerry Collins to the franchise player Vince Young. The coach did not think it was necessary to push panic button for a team that made the postseason the year before.

Now Fisher says Young is a different person compared to the quarterback he benched last season with the team currently riding a three-game winning streak.

The mess in Cleveland continues to get worse as head coach Eric Mangini continues to single-handedly further drive the franchise into the ground.

If the mysterious situation involving the firing of general manager George Kokinis wasn’t enough, now running back Jamal Lewis is saying that Mangini is working the team too hard and as a result the Browns don’t stand a chance of winning on Sundays.

The Cleveland Browns, especially head coach Eric Mangini, has been contemplating his starter since training camp. First he went with Brady Quinn to start the season, then went to his backup Derek Anderson and now Mangini has made the change back to Quinn ahead of the Browns Monday Night Football game against the Baltimore Ravens.

A huge divisional game for the Browns as Quinn gets a second opportunity to prove to the team that he is the better option for Cleveland at the quarterback position.
