Source: Donte Stallworth to sign with Baltimore Ravens

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, wide receiver Donte Stallworth has agreed to a one-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

The deal is reported to be worth $900,000 with the ability for Stallworth to earn up to another $300,000 in incentives. Just last week, Stallworth’s contract with the Cleveland Browns was terminated. Stallworth was also recently reinstated by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell after serving a year-long suspension for killing a pedestrian while driving drunk.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are quickly running out of games to turn their season around and they might also be without their most key player on defense, safety Troy Polamalu for the rest of the season.

Polamalu has been nursing a left knee injury that was initially listed as game-by-game, but it seems the knee is not healing fast enough for the perennial Pro Bowler to get back on the field and help his team on defense.

Though Polamalu hopes to still play this season, there are serious doubts and he also affirmed that there no date set for his return.

Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was name the offensive player of the week in the NFL for his magnificent comeback performance in the Lions 38-37 home win over the Cleveland Browns.

It was a game between two teams that only had one win each so far this season, so nobody really cared to watch, but it turned out to be probably the best game of the week.
