Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson has left the team in order to be with his ill daughter. Iverson will be out indefinitely.
At minimum, Iverson will miss the 76ers remaining three road games. Earlier this month, Iverson was forced to miss five games and the All-Star game in order to be with his family after the issue with his daughter’s heath first surfaced.
Although it is not yet known what exact illness Iverson’s daughter has, it is reported to be a serious issue.

For Iverson to retire from basketball when he can still play for some teams in the league would be an injustice to arguably the toughest smallest man to single-handedly carry a team to an NBA Finals in the history of the league.
“I’m not in Allen’s head. I don’t know what he’s thinking,” Heisley mentioned to AP.
